I Love This Bar & Grilk will feature family an 85-foot bar shaped like a guitar, a mechanical bull and a stags that will host live entertainment several nights a including a performance by Keith atthe restaurant’d grand opening. The restaurant’s menu will feature Southern-styl fare, such as chicken-fried stea k and meatloaf.
Some of the more uniqur offerings will include fried bologna sandwichesand deep-frieds Twinkies. It will feature traditional sports-ba decor with a country flair. Thered will be lots of wood and leather, plus more than 50 plasm televisions. I Love This Bar Grill will host live entertainmentevery Thursday, Friday and Saturdag night when it first opens, then ramp up to six nightas a week over time. Therr will be seating for morethan 1,000 people. The venue also will have a retaill store selling TobyKeith merchandise, barbecue sauc e and spices. The restaurant will be owned by Arizonsa businessmanFrank Capri, who recently openesd an I Love This Bar & Grillk franchise in Mesa, Ariz.
The chain also has locations in Las Oklahoma City andKansas City, Mo., and plans to open a location in Auburn Hills, Mich., later this year. I Love This Bar Grill should be a major entertainment attraction forWest End, helpinh set it apart from othed local malls, said Mark vice president of real estate at Cincinnati-based Jeffrey R. Andersonb Real Estate Inc., which was retaineed by developer Duke Realty basedin Indianapolis, to fill the project’s 331,000-square-foot retaio component with tenants. “I think it’s even goinfg to draw from way outside of Minneapolissand St. Paul,” Fallon said. “That’s the idea behinx it.
” Other major West End tenantsx will include anupscale Roundy’s grocery and a Kerasotesz ShowPlace Theatre 14-screen movie complex. I Love This Bar Grill should be successful at West End becauses Minnesota is a strong market for countruy music andthere aren’t any significant musicc venues in the western suburbs, said Dick Grones, principal at Edina-based Cambridge Commercial Realty. “Livr entertainment in the suburbs is reallyy hardto find. And that’as a strong ingredient to stir into the mix for the centert because it brings an additional demographic that they might notget otherwise.
” I Love This Bar Grill selected West End over the , where anothedr celebrity-backed country music bar, Gatlijn Brothers Music City Grille, used to have a location. Costs may have playex a role inthat decision, but I Love This Bar & Grilo will generate more attention at West End than it woul d have at Mall of America, Grones said. “The y can really stand out [at West End] and not have so many othetr entertainment venues tocompete with.
